What Are the Targeted Areas for a Liquid Facelift?

What can cosmetic injectables do for you? Best known for smoothing wrinkles by restoring lost volume from the aging process, injectables are a popular option for refreshing key areas of the face like the brows and forehead. However, injectables can do a lot more than smooth wrinkles and fine lines. Injectables are often used in a procedure known as a liquid facelift. This non-surgical treatment is like a “facelift lite,” providing dramatic rejuvenation without the downtime or discomfort of surgery.

Does a non-surgical facelift sound like a treatment in which you’d be interested? Keep reading to learn more about one of our favorite ways to use injectables, and be sure to contact board-certified Dr. Michael A. Epstein of MAE Plastic Surgery to schedule your treatment.

The Liquid Facelift

Aging is a slow and steady process. Often patients are bothered by signs of aging like wrinkles and sagging before they are ready for surgical treatment. A liquid facelift is an alternative to surgery that allows patients to refresh their appearance using dermal fillers, BOTOX®, and other injectables.

A liquid facelift can be performed in 30 to 60 minutes and requires no downtime. Busy patients can come in for treatment during a lunch break or after work and receive rejuvenation without using vacation time or sick leave. Non-surgical treatments help our patients delay or avoid surgical procedures or extend and maintain the results of surgical treatments.

What Injectables Do You Use?

A liquid facelift often uses several different types of injectables. We may use BOTOX® to fade lines and creases around the eyes and brows and a hyaluronic acid filler to plump the lips and contour the cheeks. Your injector will examine your face, pinpoint areas that need rejuvenation, and recommend products that will work well for you.

MAE Plastic Surgery carries a full line of dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and other cosmetic injectables.

Commonly used injectables in a liquid facelift include:

What Areas of the Face Does a Liquid Facelift Treat?

A liquid facelift addresses aging in almost every area of the face, including the brows, chin, eyes, nose, cheeks, and lips. This highly effective procedure addresses early to moderate signs of aging, including wrinkles and facial volume loss.

Since we have many different types of injectables available, we can treat many different facial concerns, including expression lines and wrinkles, sagging, thinning lips, creases and folds, loss of volume in the cheeks, double chin, and under-eye bags and hollows.

A liquid facelift does not remove or tighten skin. If you have significant skin laxity, a surgical procedure like a facelift may provide better results. Dr. Epstein can help you decide if surgical or non-surgical treatment will be your most effective option.

Our non-surgical facelift can be paired with other non-surgical treatments like laser rejuvenation. We’ll create a customized plan just for you that effectively targets your facial concerns.
