Rejuvenate Your Face this Season with a Facelift

Does a rejuvenated face top your holiday wish list this year? Don’t wait for the man in the big red suit to bring you rejuvenation. Gift it to yourself with a facelift. Fall and winter are two of the best seasons for facelift surgery. Call our offices to schedule your consultation and to learn more about your options.

The Benefits of a Fall/Winter Facelift

Cooler weather and less time in the sun can be very beneficial for facelift patients. After your surgery, you’ll need to stay out of the sun for several weeks. Your skin may burn more easily, and your fresh incisions are prone to darkening and discoloration if they receive too much sun. Many of our patients opt for a fall or winter facelift for this reason. Indoor activities are more common and it is easier to stay out of the sun for many of our patients.

The holidays can also help with facelift recovery, especially if you’re short on time the rest of the year. Most patient take about two weeks off from work after facelift surgery but some are back sooner. Some of our patients choose to schedule facelift surgery around the holidays, combining time off from work for the holidays with their surgical recovery. This can reduce downtime and often makes facelift surgery more accessible to those with limited time off.

If you’re thinking about a facelift, fall and winter are an excellent time to learn more.
