Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin. It is used to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial fold( sometimes called puppet lines). In addition, restylane can be used to enhance the lip line and add fullness to the lips.
Restylane® is made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid (a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin).
Treatment:
Restylane® is injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultrafine needle. Once injected, it creates volume resulting in a healthy and vital appearance. An anesthetic cream or block can be used prior to treatment to numb the area, providing the treatment with minimal discomfort. The treatment takes approximately 1 hour and normal activities can be resumed immediately.Results:
Restylane® takes effect almost immediately. After treatment, you may experience some bruising, redness and/or swelling and could take up to 4 days to subside. Final results will be visible in approximately 2 weeks. We find that each treatment lasts approximately 6 months and varies from patient to patient.
